AAC ID Solutions has been supplying security wristbands, lanyards and roll tickets for festivals and events for more than 10 years, working with almost every large music festival in Australia, plus a wide range of business events, parties and other events. Festivals and events have very specific identification and security concerns, and our role is to provide a customised solution for each and every one of our customers.

Wristbands to identify guests
AAC's wristbands can be customised to meet your specific needs in terms of durability, material and colour and we also allow you the opportunity to add your own text and imagery to the wristband. Need your wristbands tomorrow? Only AAC ID Solutions can provide a same day turnaround for custom printed orders - rush fee's may apply.
Ask yourself:
> Are there multiple types of entry to your event (single day, multiday etc)?
> Are there different areas for guests?
> Are guests entitled to different services?
> Do you need to identify underage patrons?
REMEMBER! All our ID wristbands are non transferrable – once applied to the guest, they cannot be transferred to other guests without ruining the wristband. We call this 'tamper resistent' and it is a key feature that all events need to consider. You do not want to use a wristband that is transferrable because this encourages gatecrashing and represents lost revenu

For single day use, we highly recommend our tyvek wristbands. These are very economical and AAC ID Solutions are the only company in Australia who actually manufacture these here in Australia. Commonly thought of as ‘paper’ wristbands, they are actually a synthetic material that is non-stretch, tear resistant, waterproof and highly durable. Available in a wide range of colours and patterns, in either 25mm or 19mm size, Tyvek Wristbands are the most popular and widely used wristband in Australia.
For multiday use, we highly recommend our straight-wave plastic wristbands, wide-faced vinyl wristbands or high security woven wristbands. All these wristbands are suitable for day or night events, are comfortable and can be sequentially numbered and customised. Woven wristbands expecially are popular for multi-day festivals.
Woven wristbands
At higher value events where entry is priced at a premium, security is your most serious concern. In this case we highly recommend our woven wristbands as these possess a very high security rating. The wristband is closed using either a slide lock (plastic or metal), or by using an aluminium toggle that is closed using a crimping tool. Only AAC can also offer the AAC-exclusive slide lock - metal teeth inside, plastic casing outside - the lock / toggle of choice for the countries biggest events.
Wristbands to control drinking
Underage drinking is always a concern at events. AAC ID Solutions highly recommends that for certain events where this may be a problem, wristbands are provided that indicate whether a guest is over or under 18 years of age.
Wristbands to sell
At events, especially concerts and festivals, souvenir wristbands (also called novelty wristbands) are always a big seller. The AAC team can work with you to design and print special event wristbands that can then be sold at your event. For this purpose, we recommend our silicone wristbands, made from a rubber-like material that is stretchy and durable, and trendy slapbands.
This is a great opportunity to generate extra revenue as these products are purchased at a low cost, but can be sold at a premium!
RFID Wristbands (wristbands with microchips!! Woah!)
AAC ID Solutions is pleased to also offer RFID wristbands that utilise NFC (Near Field Communications) technology. The wristbands actually have a ‘chip’ embedded in them that you can use to interact with specialised systems. AAC can supply an entire RFID solution for your event including hardware rental (Nexus Smartphones), systems (all App and cloud based - nothing complicated), wristbands and training - and it is simpler and cheaper than you imagine.
RFID wristbands allow you to automate gate access, implement cashless transaction, enjoy live tracking of visitor activity, collect detailed reports and even utilise social media integration to further engage patrons. And the best part, because the technology is so sexy, you can easily attract sponsors to help cover the costs! If your main goal is simply to monitor / scan guests at entry, consider barcoded wristbands.
Lanyards are a common form of identification, and are usually combined with a transparent ID wallet containing relevant accreditation or with an ID card. ID wallets and cards can be supplied by AAC.
As with guests, you need to ask yourself whether each staff member or performer is permitted to enter all areas on all days, or whether specific lanyards are required. Our lanyards can be customised in terms of colour, width, material, attachments, text and imagery, thus creating a completely unique lanyard for your event. The priority thought if the identification used at the end of the lanyard.
AAC can also supply full colour lanyards that are printed using heat sublimation - this creates a digital quality print finish that removes restrictions related to colour and design, and which also creates a soft silky feel to the lanyard.
Festival passes
and laminates
AAC offers a range of festival passes, matrix laminates and satin sticky passes that provide a sexy way to identify your VIP's and performers.
Laminates can be printed in any size, and can include variable data, barcodes, foil stamping and more. Print on both sides, add adhesive patches and more to create the high quality identification and collectors item you are looking for.
