Wristbands to identify guests
Our wristbands can be customised to meet your specific needs in terms of durability, material and colour and we also allow you the opportunity to add your own text and imagery to the wristband. Need your wristbands tomorrow? Only AAC ID Solutions can provide a same day turnaround for custom printed orders - rush fee's may apply.
Ask yourself:
> Are there multiple types of entry to your event (single day, multiday etc)?
> Are there different areas for guests?
> Are guests entitled to different services?
REMEMBER! All our ID wristbands are non transferrable – once applied to the guest, they cannot be transferred to other guests without ruining the wristband. We call this 'tamper resistent' and it is a key feature that all events needs to consider. You do not want to use a wristband that is transferrable because this encourages gatecrashing.
Recommendation
You need to differentiate guests, and probably in a multitude of ways. This can be done by issuing different types of wristband (colour, content, design).
For single day use, we highly recommend our tyvek wristbands as wristbands for events and festivals. These are very economical and AAC ID Solutions are the only company in Australia who actually manufacture these here in Australia. Commonly thought of as ‘paper’ wristbands, they are actually a synthetic polyethylene material.
For multiday use, we highly recommend our straight-wave plastic wristbands, wide-faced vinyl wristbands or high security woven wristbands. All these wristbands are suitable for day or night events, are comfortable and can be sequentially numbered and customised. All these wristbands are single use wristbands that cannot be transferred to other guests and which can be customised to meet your specific needs.

For staff, security and volunteers, you might prefer to use lanyards as an identification tool (see below).
Wristbands to control drinking
Underage drinking is always a concern at events. AAC ID Solutions highly recommends that for certain events where this may be a problem, wristbands are provided that indicate whether a guest is under 18 years of age.
Wristbands for ultimate security
At higher value events where entry is priced at a premium, security is your most serious concern. In this case we highly recommend our woven wristbands as these are almost 100% forgery proof. Using a special crimping tool the wristband is applied to the guest in a secure fashion, yet the wristband remains comfortable, attractive and is made of such high quality that the wristband is generally then kept as a souvenir.
Wristbands to sell
At events, especially concerts and festivals, souvenir wristbands (also called novelty wristbands) are always a big seller. The AAC team can work with you to design and print special event wristbands that can then be sold at your event. For this purpose, we recommend our silicone wristbands, made from a rubber-like material that is stretchy and durable, and trendy slapbands.
This is a great opportunity to generate extra revenue as these products are purchased at a low cost, but can be sold at a premium!
Wristbands that hold data!
AAC ID Solutions is pleased to also offer wristbands that utilise RFID technology. The wristbands actually have a ‘chip’ embedded in them that you can use to store data in i.e. financial transactions to allow your guests to make purchases without carrying money, or other identification data for additional security. If your main goal is simply to monitor guest activity, consider barcoded wristbands.
A lanyard is identification that you wear around your neck, most often with a clear ID wallet containing relevant information. They are most commonly used for staff and performers at events, and for VIP’s.
As with guests, you need to ask yourself whether each staff member or performer is permitted to enter all areas on all days, or whether specific lanyards are required. Our lanyards can be customised in terms of colour, attachments, text and imagery, thus creating a completely unique lanyard for your event.
Another way to generate more revenue is to sell promotional products at your event. AAC ID Solutions can offer a range of promotional products that can be branded to your event and then sold to guests. Don’t be afraid to increase revenue-generating options at your event!
