  • Automate access/entry

RFID solutions are now a realistic option for events and venues. For years they have been complicated, clumsy and expensive, but no longer. AAC ID Solutions has long been a supplier of RFID wristbands, and can support your RFID-focused event in conjunction with Centryc's wireless app-based systems, and at a genuinely realistic price.

Only by working with AAC can you obtain everything you need in one place, including all systems, training, hardware, wristbands and on-site support. No need for multiple parties, it’s all under one roof.

Who is RFID for?

  • Events, festivals, parties, university open days - automate access, options for cashless transactions and social media integration
  • Leisure centres, bars, clubs, aquatic centres - access to facilities, areas
  • Wherever you wish to gather information and reports of visitors/patrons
  • Exhibitions and conferences - automate access, engage with visitors with unique treasure hunts that encourage participation.

What can RFID wristbands and our RFID wristbandspartners incredible MeTag system achieve for you?

  • Live ‘on the spot’ registration for visitors and encoding of unique wristbands for each person.
  • Identification verification via RFID scanners/smartphones
  • Live tracking and reporting of where your visitors are throughout the event
  • Secure cashless transactions

RFID wristbands

Choose from our popular Photo Image Adhesive RFID Wristband, ideally with a Mifare Ultralight 14443 chip and inlay, a silicone RFID wristband, or a woven RFID wristband for longer term use. Depending on your requirements, we can propose the right wristband for your needs. There will also be differences in the type of RFID chip we propose, and all this will be explained to you.

What is the MeTag Application?

MeTag has been developed by Centryc Solutions, who are working with AAC to promote RFID solutions all over Australia. This incredible system runs via online Apps (applications) allowing us to provide you with all systems and features for an RFID solution entirely online; this means no tables with notebooks and computers and wires - just smartphones and iPads, allowing total flexibility.

Registration, payments, wristband encoding, monitoring of the event, reports - ALL via smartphones and iPads.

RFID for festivals and events
RFID wristbands are ideal for the festival environment, and are beginning to gain momentum in the US and Europe at the major festivals.

  • Patrons can buy their tickets online as usual through your ticketing company.
  • AAC are provided the patrons details and enter them in to the MeTag system
  • Upon arriving at the festival, an RFID wristband is encoded on the spot
  • Patrons enter and leave the festival, and it's various areas i.e. VIP area (if permitted), and this is all recorded and reported live to the event organisers. You know how many people have scanned in, who they are and where they are - LIVE.
  • Patrons make purchases using their wristband, scanning it at the bar. There are different ways to manage this, including pre-purchase before the event i.e. patron purchases $100/credit that is loaded on to their wristband/profile.
  • Social media functionality can be incorporated. Festival staff can take photos of patrons, scan their wristbands and the photo will appear on any social media platform desired. Scan multiple bands and the photo will upload to all of their Facebook pages with a customised message.

RFID for university open days
University Open Days tend to involve a lot of computer-heavy registration stations, clipboards and pens. Not any more.

  • Register visitors 'on the spot' as they arrive using MeTag App on smart phones and automatically encode a unique wristband before they enter. Total process = 2 mins.
  • Position staff with smartphones at each course building/booth. If a visitor scans their wristband at a particular station i.e. economics department, they'll automatically be sent an email containing all relevant information they need for their course.
  • The University receives live tracking and reporting, and a master report at the end lists all visitors and where they scanned their wristbands.
  • Obtain parents information and send them specific information
  • Integrate the MeTag photo sharing application and begin the University social experience now.

RFID for exhibitions and conferences
Exhibitons and conferences have seen very little innovation for decades. Yes, barcoding came along and allowed us to scan visitors at the door and at booths, but it doesn't allow us to engage visitors or to collect valuable information from them.

  • Automate access in and out of the exhibition, allowing you to pin-point what times you had rises and dips in attendance.
  • Allow visitors to scan themselves at different points of the event to update their location
  • Run engaging competitions and games that encourage participation i.e. scan your wristband at locations a, b, c, d and e to enter the draw for a prize.

What is a DAV Wristband?

The ‘old school’ way for many establishments was to use permanent markers or stamps to mark a patron's hand, but these ‘marker’ methods are far from fool-proof or secure as the ink can be either washed/scrubbed off or easily counterfeited. The use of wristbands is a safer alternative for checking drinking age verification...
